My love for coffee and its aesthetic inspired me to create this logo animation for Nescafe. I also wanted to experiment with dynamic objects in Cinema 4D and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do it.
First step was to create a realistic coffee bean by create an appropriate material. I used a dirty mud texture to create this material and also added bump map to make it more realistic.
Next step was to add motion. I made clones of the coffee beans and made them dynamic objects to make the animation. I used effectors such as push apart and attractors to create the second half of the animation. I also added z-depth AOV in order to add depth of field, trying to add more perspective to the scene.
